It starts with a different view of what we are truly made up of-earth, water, and energy from the sun. This is in fact what we are. If you took our planet earth and put it out into the universe away from any energy source, you would basically have a huge ball of dirt. Nothing could live in such an environment. We, along with all other living organisms must have all 3 of these essentials in order to prosper.

The sun gives us our energy. The water provides us with our flexibility and ability to move. The minerals and gasses provide us with everything else. Of course we
must eat, which provides us with fats, sugars and amino acids. This is necessary as we have evolved to integrate these other compounds as well into the functioning of our human body. Interestingly, everything we eat has been fabricated by plants which come from dirt or the animals that eat them.
Without a full and complete balance of the minerals, none of these other compounds can be adequately put to use.

One of, if not the most important thing to understand today is the lack of these essential minerals in the topsoil where plants are grown. Modern farming methods have depleted the mineral content of our soils to the point where whatever we grow on it is so depleted that one, what we are eating is so devoid of these elements that we cannot adequately function and two, these plants cannot adequately defend themselves and so require poisons to be sprayed on them to keep our natural recyclers (bugs, bacteria, and fungi) from doing their job. These poisons then cause all kinds of problems for us when we eat them.
