A Response to Sandra on Breast Cancer

The other day I received an inquiry from a young woman named Sandra asking how much iodine she should be taking to make a small lump in her breast go away.  In fact, the dis-ease of cancer or just tumor growth involves much more than just increasing ones intake of iodine.  First and formost, one must conceptualize what is causing the tumor.  In a book I recently acquired entitled Cancer Is A Fungus by Dr. Tuillo Simoncini a completely new cause of cancer is explored-that cancer is candida fungus overgrowth.  After looking at what we have experienced in cancer growth over the last 100 years, all signs point to this theory as being spot on.  In 1900, the rate of cancer in the world was 1 in every 100 people.  Today, it is 1 in every 3 people and is rapidly approaching 1 in every 2 people.  At the same time several things that could cause a fungal overgrowth have dramatically changed in our diets:

  • Our annual consumption of sugar has risen from 1 pound per person per year to over 120 pounds. (Yeast proliferate when fed excessive sugar)

  • Our consumption of antibiotics has also grown exponentially. (Antibiotics kill the beneficial bacteria that naturally reside in our large intestine and help keep the naturally occurring fungi at stable levels.  These antibiotics not only are administered most indiscriminately by our doctors, but are also used in huge amounts by farmers who raise livestock in order to promote rapid growth and keep their animals alive long enough to get to market.  We absorb these daily when eating meats raised in these crowded conditions).

  • The toxic load we as a people are now exposed to on a daily basis has grown exponentially. (This is a result of current farming practices, food refinement, toxic air and water pollution, medical practices which use mercury such as amalgam fillings and thymerosol in vaccines, crowding with an excessive onslaught of negativity and human-generated radiation from many sources).

  • Excessive physical and emotional stress.

Once a fungal overgrowth penetrates the gut wall and gets a foothold in our interstitial tissues, it becomes quite difficult to eradicate.  The onslaught of this toxic load combined with minerally deficient food severely limits our body’s natural ability for self healing as well as proper functioning at the cellular level.

This being said, there are a number of supplements, dietary recommendation, and mental and emotional factors which can help put on back on a path of self healing and regeneration.

Dietary Recommendations:

  • Completely eliminate any refined sugar or grain products from your diet.  This means getting your sugars from organic fruits and vegetables and eating only whole organic grains preferably sprouted. If you can’t go cold turkey on the sugar, use stevia or xylitol.

  • Keep your intake of animal products to between 4 and 8 ozs per day and only eat free-range animals.  Do not eat animals raised in crowded pens.

  • Increase your intake of green leafy vegetables.

  • Eat with the seasons.

  • Drink clean water without chlorine or fluoride.

Supplement recommendations:

  • Take 3-4 mg daily of iodine as potassium iodide, preferably in a liquid format.

  • Take ½ to 1 mg daily of selenium, preferably in a liquid form.

  • Take probiotics daily.

  • Take a complete silica based multiple mineral.

  • Take silica to rebuild the gut wall and connective tissue integrity.

  • Take a good reliable anti-candida formula. The effectiveness of these formulas can vary from person to person and so some experimentation is required.

Emotional recommendations:

  • Make time for yourself

  • Make peace with yourself.

  • Understand that life is a series of hills and valleys and that the hills are greased.  We can’t have the highs without the lows. Otherwise, we wouldn’t even recognize when things were good.

  • Understand life is a cycle of birth, growth (physical, emotional, and spiritual) and finally death.  It happens to all of us.

Other important things to do:

  • Exercise

  • Have any amalgam fillings removed. (Do so only if the dentist will protect you with a mask over your nose attached to separate air!)

  • Get a hair mineral analysis performed to find out what other minerals you may be out of balance in.

  • Avoid chemotherapy, radiation entirely and surgery unless absolutely necessary.  According to Simoncici, all present allopathic cancer treatments are abject failures.

The objective of these recommendations is to provide your body with the things it needs to properly sustain normal metabolic functioning.  It is the imbalances we  have created which have gotten us to this state.  Rebalancing is the only way you are going to achieve normal cellular functioning which will keep all pathogenic at bay.

It is important to understand that fungi, bacteria, virus’ and other pathogens are not enemies.  They are in fact nature’s natural recyclers.  If they have gotten a foothold in your terrain, it is due to the inability of your cells to function adequately due to any one or combination of the above.
