My First Experience with Silica!

When I first started working at Eidon, it was 2015 and I was about 40lbs heavier. As a college student, my diet consisted of things like In-N-Out burgers, deli sandwiches on white bread, beer drinking games, and all kinds of desserts! I thought I could eat whatever as long as I stayed active.
 

What I didn’t realize was that the food I was eating created such an imbalance in my stomach’s microbiome that it started to affect my other bodily functions. While many factors could influence someone’s health and well-being, I knew if I completely changed what I was eating I would start to feel better. I believe that our bodies know what to do when given the right nutrients, and mine was freaking out!
 

I mostly struggled with nausea and acid reflux every morning, as soon as I woke up, for 8+ years straight. In high school, I was diagnosed with a stomach ulcer, a hiatal hernia, and GERD. I couldn’t sleep, my hair was falling out, my nails were breaking, and my skin looked severely dehydrated. I tried the infamous Tums, Chinese medicinal herbs, and baking soda or tea concoctions but felt little relief. What I didn’t try was changing WHAT and WHEN I ate.
 

The goal was to eat more whole and nutrient-dense foods, drink remineralized water first thing in the morning (not coffee), cut back on dairy, refined sugar, and carbs, and not eat anything after 8 pm. My dietary changes became helpful over time, but I still had the daily morning nausea and acid reflux. It wasn’t until I started taking Silica that I began to feel like my stomach was recovering.
 

Silica supports the gastrointestinal tract and when in ionic liquid form, it is very gentle on those with a sensitive stomach. When consumed in this form rather than a powder or capsule, no digestion needs to take place as one can absorb 99% of the dose. Silica has no taste or odor, making it super easy to add to anything or to take even in the mornings when I was nauseous.
 

I took 2-3 tablespoons of 18oz Liquid Silica every morning. In one week, the duration of my daily nausea and acid reflux was cut in half. By week three, it almost stopped entirely. After a few months of supplementing with Silica, my nails started to grow back stronger without breakage, I had baby hairs coming in and my skin looked much healthier!
 

Seven years later, I still take 2-3 tablespoons of Silica in the morning. If I feel nauseous or ate something I shouldn’t have such as fried food, I reach for the Silica. I can now drink orange juice or eat tomatoes without the acidic kickback! I’ve recently been asked where I get my hair extensions, but the funny thing is that I don’t have any! It’s the Silica!
 

There are many wonderful benefits of taking Silica; this was just my first life-changing experience. Silica also helps to build collagen, manage Calcium, strengthen tendons and arteries, and can be applied topically to soothe and hydrate the skin.

Liquid Silica
